He has more than 30 years of experience in strategy and business consulting, having worked in prestigious international strategy consulting firms and as an independent consultant.

He is an expert in procurement transformation, having led +100 procurement projects, managing teams accumulating +400 consultants and +600 client team members, to achieve €1bn annualized financial results.

He has led Kearney’s Operations and Procurement practice in EMEA and is Senior Advisor to BCG’s Procurement practice. In addition, he is a partner of CPOnet and Director of its think tank PFTlab.

He has developed a global career in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia-Pacific with multinational and regional groups.

He is a regular speaker at professional procurement conventions and has published several articles on the future of the procurement function, integrated spend management, volatility management, supply chain agility and the digitalization and “datalization” of the function.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra and an MBA from IESE.
